Find out how you can travel to Qatar’s eight spectacular FIFA World Cup 2022™ stadiums – by road and using public transport
Khalifa International Stadium
Located approximately 5km west of central Doha (Location map).
During tournament time, your Hayya to Qatar 2022 app is your journey planner. Your app will provide you with real-time travel updates, schedules and transport hub locations. It is also your gateway to free travel on public transport from 10 November to 23 December 2022.
Sports City Metro Station (Gold line) is a 5-minute walk from the stadium.
Stadium Express Buses
This service will operate from dedicated Stadium Express Bus Hubs and bring fans 23 minutes’ walk from the stadium. Buses start running 4 hours before match kick-off.

Stadium-to-Stadium Express Bus
For ticketholders with same-day match tickets during the tournament group stage, a free Stadium-to-Stadium Express Bus service is available. It provides direct travel between stadiums without the need to head into central Doha.
The Stadium-to-Stadium Express Bus (Service Number S901) is available to transfer fans on:
Monday 21 November
- From Khalifa International Stadium, Match 3: 4 PM kick-off
- To Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Match 4: 10 PM kick-off
Wednesday 23 November
- From Khalifa International Stadium, Match 11: 4 PM kick-off
- To Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Match 9: 10 PM kick-off
Use the Hayya to Qatar 2022 app to find bus hub locations and book your seats. Places are limited so you must reserve your spot at least two weeks before matchday.
Parking space is located close to the stadium. Accessible parking options will be available.
Taxi, Uber, Careem
Drop-off and pick-up areas are a 15-minute walk to the stadium. These areas will open 4 hours before match kick-off and close 1.5 hours after the final whistle.
