Estithmar Holding QPSC announced as Official Partner for Lusail Super Cup

The Lusail Super Cup Local Organising Committee has announced Estithmar Holding QPSC as an Official Partner for the Lusail Super Cup Presented by Qatari Diar, which will be held at Lusail Stadium on Friday 9 September.

The Lusail Super Cup will be contested by the Saudi Pro League champions Al Hilal SFC and Egyptian champions Zamalek SC at the 80,000-capacity venue, which will also host the FIFA World Cup™ final later this year. Prior to the match, a concert from superstar performer Amr Diab will take place. Estithmar’s involvement in the event was announced during a photo-call at Al Bidda Tower.

Nasser Al Khater, CEO, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 LLC, said: “We are very pleased to partner with Estithmar to stage the Lusail Super Cup at Lusail Stadium. This is a landmark event for the country as we edge ever closer to staging the first FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and Arab world.”

Lusail Stadium is Qatar’s biggest FIFA World Cup™ tournament venue. It will host ten matches during Qatar 2022, starting with Argentina versus Saudi Arabia on 22 November and culminating with the final on 18 December. The stadium boasts a host of sustainability features, including a roof made from PTFE that protects the venue from warm wind, keeps out dust and allows in enough light for the pitch to grow while providing shade to reduce the burden on the stadium’s air conditioning. Last week, Lusail Stadium achieved a five-star Global Sustainability Assessment System rating for its design and build and a Class A* rating for construction management.
