SC announced as gold sponsor for WISE Summit
This year's summit, which will take place at Qatar National Convention Centre from 14-16 November, will be held under the theme 'Co-Exist, Co-Create: Learning to Live and Work Together'.
Through various initiatives, including speeches and panel sessions, delegates will discuss numerous pressing issues, particularly the state of education in relation to global troubles, conflicts, wars and the absence of economic stability. In addition, the summit will focus on mass migration, displacement, inequality and the rapid growth of the technology sector.
A number of prominent experts, researchers and innovators from the fields of education, media, charitable organisations and technology will attend the summit. They will investigate potential solutions to various issues and discuss the future of education.
The SC will promote numerous programmes during the summit, including two of its flagship CSR initiatives – the Josoor Institute and Generation Amazing. In addition, representatives from the SC's Qatar Behavioural Insights Unit will deliver a workshop and roundtable during the event.
Josoor Institute, which seeks to train sports and events professional, and WISE have committed to co-publishing research into athletes and education ahead of the next summit in 2019. Generation Amazing, which administers football for development projects in Qatar and internationally, will participate in Doha Learning Week activities, where they will showcase their activities at Katara. During the summit itself, Generation Amazing will deliver football drills which focus on their key themes: healthy, inclusive and green.

In addition to the regular activities, this year's summit will also feature an interactive forum to encourage delegates to ask questions about the future of education and develop recommendations for decisions makers in Qatar and around the world.
