

Residential Accommodation FAQs
The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) is inviting property owners to submit expressions of interest in providing residential accommodation. We are offering an Eskan lease options for a five-year period, including the duration of the FIFA World Cup 2022™ (November – December 2022).
The monthly rental amount paid will be based upon the unit type and its condition, the unit's bedroom configuration, the municipality and the district in which the property is located.
Property owners must adhere to service level requirements and provide fully furnished units inclusive of utilities, TV, internet connection, and maintenance.

Property owners are welcome to apply, as well as real estate companies representing property owners or sub-lessors.
Applicants must have multiple adjacent residential units at any property they want to register. The residential units may be in villa compounds, apartment towers or mixed-use developments.
Kindly note that this registration portal is only open to the property owners or their representatives – in line with current laws and regulations. The portal is not open for tenants to register rooms or parts of a unit they are renting.

Yes – users can access the residential accommodation portal to delete or add properties, without limit, until the portal is closed.
All the registered properties will be reviewed by the SC. The SC will then contact preferred suppliers and communicate proposed leasing options.
You will be leasing your properties to the Governmental Housing and Buildings Department for five years.
A fixed rental rate will be determined by the government, based upon the unit type, the unit’s bedroom configuration, the municipality and the district in which the property is located, as well as the condition of the unit.
The lease will be for a period of five years, including the duration of the tournament (November – December 2022). The property owners can choose a start date between 1 August 2021 and 1 January 2022.
Service level requirements for owners comprise the supply of fully furnished units, complete with facilities management inclusive of utilities, TV and maintenance.
All properties must be in compliance with the occupancy requirements of the authorities (including the Ministry of Municipality & Environment and the Qatar Civil Defence Directorate) before the lease start date.
The property suppliers will be responsible for arranging all utility connections and subscriptions, including associated fees. Property suppliers must pay for utilities, but will be reimbursed based on actual usage for the below utilities:
- Water
- Gas
- District cooling (Qatar Cool)
Yes, the lease can be renewed as per provisions of the governing Qatar laws.
