Al Bayt Stadium Progress

Al Bayt Stadium, which will welcome the world's best players at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, is close to completion.

The 60,000 seats for fans, produced by local company Coastal Qatar, are almost all installed. The stadium's inner architecture is at the final stages and the tunnels that players will emerge from in 2022 are ready. Outside the stadium, grass and trees have been planted throughout the precinct. Lakes and water features have also been created.

The stadium's steel roof structure is now finished and its façade, which resembles the tents used throughout Qatar's history, is also complete. Excitement is building as the venue for the opening Qatar 2022 match nears its big day.
